    Hey guys,

I'm looking at buying one of these sissy bars

It says it will fit "Sportster XL1200 R C XL1200S XLH1200" but no mention of the XL1200X (Forty Eight)
Anyone have any idea whether it would fit a 48?  Looking at the mounts, it shouldn't be hard to adapt anyway, but would be nice if it bolted on.

I *HATE* the look of the standard harley sissy's, hence looking elsewhere...

    Cheers for any help.

the side plates look like the ones for a frame mount sporty - not a rubbermount. I'd ask him a few Q's first.

Check out the burly brand sissy, it's the tidiest nicest bolt on ive seen

Or if you're after something a bit more 'vintagey' http://www.easyriders.jp/en/bs/en_xl_1200v.html

Yeah, I might fire him through some questions.

I'd love the tall Burly one, but it's just too expensive at $300 to have purely for road trips...

Stumped up the funds and bought the Burly tall sissy. Thats a HD springer seat, Burly sissy and an Iron tank all in one week. I should almost apologise to my wallet.
