    Hi guys,

Recently ripped the wires out of my lowrider; basically had them zipped tied under the rear guard - wires fell, got caught up on my rear tire and tore the entire loom out.

Have spent the better part of today fucking around with 5 wires.  On the bike side I have an Orange/White, Red/Yellow and Black and the my EMGO Sparto Tail light I have a Red and a Black.

So I cant seem to get everything working together again, I either end up with constant power and no change in current for the stop light or a stop light that works only when the rear brake pedal has been pushed.  But I should have a run light, brake light and license plate light which I had working a up until it was torn apart.  I have the earth attached to the body of the EMGO stop light; which is working fine but cant seem to get a constance low currently to the light whilst the brake light works at the same time.

Anyone got any ideas, this is driving me fucking nuts!!!

    Waz

I believe bike side wires are, red/yellow is your brake light feed.
Orange/white is tail or running light feed. Sometimes this wire is blue
    black is earth.
The tail light should have three wires also. Red, black and yellow. Yellow is earth on some emgo lights on others it is black. red is brake and black should be running light or earth depending on which one you have.
If you only have two wires on your emgo like you say then it can only be a stop light only with no tail or running light. Therefore black is earth.

But this makes no sense because you say it was was all working right before, so you must have a three wire tail/stop light and one of the wires (yellow) must have been ripped out.

On the wires coming from the bike have you used a test light or just trying to do it by hooking up the tail light??? I would think that the body of the tail light is supposed to earth it and the 2 wires are runing and brake light..Have you also checked the globe to make sure both elements are in there???
