Early 90's I bought a Whitek EFI from Bob White California.

It seems that Bob is out of business. the website and e-mail are no longer valid.

Are there forum members that ride (or did) with a Whitek EFI? And if so, what are your experiences?

In the early 90's i built a 98" four valve evo engine for a customer ,the people that were involved in its installation were hot to use the Whitek system , i told them to get it sorted with one carburetor and an adjustable electronic ignition to start with and run it in with that ,but the glowing advertising and their first sale of what they projected would be many had them, hooked on the Whitek , they managed to tune it to a stand still ,then after months of who got what wrong and what if's and if only's ,wrong cam timing ,valves in back to front ,pistons upside down every problem that could only be inside the engine I convinced the owner to just try a carb and ignition and lo and behold the thing went fine .not a spanner laid on the engine.
It probably worked fine for many but i expect the ones that got it to work were electronics savvy.
Stick with what you know works ,don't use something that could leave you on the side of the road with a disengaged phone tone on the end of your mobile when trying for advice.
