I have an oval S/E air filter and since making the bike just a little quieter (muffler baffle) I am now getting a lot of induction noise. Its not really a nice sound, not sure how to describe it. At stand still I cant really hear it while reving, but when on the move I can and it does drown out the nice exhaust note quite a bit. Just wondering if there is anyway to reduce the noise of it or am I looking at having to change to a different style of heavy breather, if so what kind. I am guessing I might need to go for a standard cover with a high flow filter.
