Gidday one and all ... pretty late to post this but by chance if there are any late night site checkers up here in Brisbane or Northern NSW there is a bike show being held out at  Mt . Alford ... probly about 15 or 20 minutes Sth West of Boonah .

Being put on by Harry of Harry`s Custom Bikes in conjunction with a rally that is on at the same time and same place ... bands ... stalls ... food ... camping ... all the usal stuff .

Bike show open to the public about 8.30 / 9.00  tomorrow  Sat . the 1st of November ... here`s hoping the Rain Gods hold off long enough for a nice ride .

fark me it was hot out there today, a few nice bikes and a few stalls. I think its hard for shows like these when you have been to the DL show at Kingston, no comparison.

Your not wrong about the heat Steve , same as last year ... you found it no worries ... what time were you guys out there , we got there about 9 and left about 12.30 , stopped at the Rathdowney on way back for a quick cold one before retreating to my lovely Air-Con back home , Lol .

Not sure what it is as I imagine there are far better roads around but I love the scenery out that way ... know what you mean about no comparison between Dirty Love Show and this one but I do like the smaller shows some times ... Chops , the guy who put on Dirty Love show had a stall out there today .

One of the problems for me anyhow is they want guys to put their bikes in for people to check them out which is cool but they didn`t even start the judging until 1 and Trophies weren't given out till 4 ... it`s not all about the Trophies but that's to long a day in that heat .

The old boys in Blue went past a few times while we were there , made it out and back with out any pull overs so that's good ... would have liked to hear how the Bands were but again they were scheduled to come on fairly late in the arvo ... they were just setting up and sound checking when we were off .

Oh well better to have a show than none at all I suppose , cheers .

I must have got there just before you left and I was only there for an hour. I was solo today and also went home via Rathdowney. I ride out that way a fair bit, I stopped off at Canungra for a drink then home to the air con to cool down. Yeah I know what you are saying about something better than nothing but the heat and flies was enough for me.
