I have finally got my Softy Back on the road and it has a different look

Fitted a 21" Breakout front rim with a sporty front Fender and blacked a few bits out with some new rotors. The sled has come up a treat,

Looks awesome ando. Gotta be happy with that. That breakout front wheel and exhaust really set it off

cheers boys. I was wondering about the handling but I think it has improved the handling of the front end as it feels a lot sharper and gives a lot of confidents

Looks great Ando, I'm guessing you have been into Bling Custom?? Their work looks awesome.

I'm planning on going into see them about doing my wheels, lower forks and maybe a few other bits, probably leave getting it done until next winter now though as I don't want to be off the road in the good weather.

My bad, that's even better though as I mistook your work for theirs (a complement). Bling are sort of out your way in Rockingham, they have a good reputation and from what I have seen the work is really good.

Great look Ando ... love the pipes , got them on my Springer ... when you put the Breakout front wheel on did you by chance consider putting a complete Breakout front end on with the bigger forks and so on

If so was there any obstacle's to doing such a conversion ... I have a 21 x 3.5 Ride Wright on the front of my 08 Softail and I reckon it feels better as well ... would just like to make the front forks a bit chunkier

    Great looking ride .

Very cool mate nice job!! only thing I'd do to her is powder coat that front wheel gloss black to tie in with the rear would be it for me (but that's me being picky) lol.

I'm looking for some new pipes to go on my next build, I can't put my finger on who makes these?

Sporty guard fits nicely, I might have to steel that idea

Squid the pipes are from Freedom ... I think Rollies is bringing them in now ... I got mine that I have on my Springer from M & M Cycles out of Ohio ... when the Aussie Dollar was in much better state than it is now though .

Great job Ando, you've transformed it into one great looking softy mate.

Have you run that pipe before? I'd be interested to hear what you think of it sound/volume after putting a few Kms on it.... Sure looks good on your bike.

In case Ando doesn't see your question brems, I had that same pipe on for about a year and it was awesome but after a small incident lol the insurance replaced the pipe and I went for the Freedom Union 2 into 1 as it means if I carry a passenger they can put their feet on the standard rear pegs unlike with the Outlaw.

Other than that I can't think of a better looking pipe than the Freedom Outlaw, performance wise I had no complaints with it on my 95". As for sound each to his/her own I guess but I thought it sounded really good.

Sorry Berms didn't see ya post. I have been running it for a few years, I like the sound of it that's for sure, good thing is it doesn't scrap

Cartoon Head did you have both pipes dyno'd? If so how do the compare as I like the union as well, with its long muffler and longer headers I was thinking that it would make torque ealier

No Ando, just vtuned with TTS.

I had not long done the 95" with 37N cams (no head work) and vtuned it when the bike was dropped, nothing bad just tank and pipe anyway I haven't re done the VTune as the bike run's really well and TBH I haven't noticed a big difference (sorry no very scientific lol) between them.
