I'm heading to NZ from the UK in 4 weeks and am bringing the Road King.
Anything I should know?
Hey Dazza I'm in NZ, too. The first thing you should do is check out http://www.drivingtests.co.nz/roadcode/motorbike/. It has all the road rules - some of our road markings and signs are way different to the UK. Then you might want to check out http://www.nzta.govt.nz/licence/residents-visitors/driving-nz.html to see about swapping your bike licence to a NZ one. There's a local Institute of Advanced Motorists chapter (search them on Facebook). Other than that, NZ drivers can be less courteous than UK ones, so be careful.
