just wondering if anyone has used late model switches on a older bike like my 92 fxr whats the ins and outs?can it be done?

With the fxr the wiring from the switches go to the headlight so will have to sus it out,just put 10" tbars on and none of the. Wiring is long enough so pick up my switch blocks tomorrow see if they any longer
