Picked up a Forty Eight as my first Harley, big upgrade from the VTR250 I had previously! haha.

 

Just waiting on Robbo's to fit my options so I can ride it home, will give it a few months to learn what I want out of it before I start seriously modifying. They're still waiting on some bits, so hopefully I get it before the end of the week.

Welcome and enjoy your 48. Agree your colour looks good and a nice change from the common colours. Hope you didn't get ripped off by the dealer with your new mods.

Only a $250 colour on the MY15, just metallic, not hard candy, looks awesome in person too.

Options wise I'm just getting the easy remove sissy backrest kit, medium backrest, pad rear seat, rear pegs so the missus can ride on the back but I don't have to leave it 2-up, and they're swapping the front sets with some mid sets for me.

Nice work on the 48 mate! Ditto on the color, love it.

Longest week of my life, not booked into the workshop to have everything fitted until Friday, can't ride away and come back because I'm doing a "brand new" trade in on the frontset :|

2014 Iron 883 V&H short shots,flipped mirror,screaming eagle heavy breather,super tuner...looking to do suspension soon as when my partner wanna come along stock shocks seems a bit of poor performance...
