On the market for a night rod 2012 model... There's one for sale imported from the states and the taco obviously has been changed cause it reads kilometers! Does the computer record kilometers also if you plug a scan tool or something like tht in? 

When I changed my speedo, it started a 50k countdown and then it locked to the bike and automatically updated the mileage.
I actually changed my mind and took the first one out at about 35ks and sold it to a mate and when he fitted it, it started the count again.
I would have thought that would happen on all late models.
