I am keen on this also, and i will admit, that it would be for looks only.

In fact I would expect it to handle worse because of it....

Who wouldn't want a fat rear end. There is a vid on youtube if you search wide rear tyre sportster on youtube. Involves a bit of stuffing around, im pretty sure he converts it back to chain drive for that reason!

Yeah I had a look on you tube there is a few videos only one from AUS. I am keen to keen to know how much is involved, in one of the videos he just advises you need new wheel, new guard and change to chain drive. If thats it I will defiantly do it for sure look so good :)

I love the look of iron and with the 1200 kit its now not a entry level bike in my opnion, as handling goes not to fussed love the look of the fat tyre dont think its going to make a huge diff, most people are happy who do the change over :)

Looking good Stretch. Realy like the rear fender, are you using a tail light? or run/stop/turn signals?

Hey I reckon it looks great too. If you can find an affordable way to do it, then go for it!

The vid on Youtube I saw didn't change the swing arm but he did hack at the rear frame to fit the new fender in from memory.

I have seen some vids on you tube, where they just change the rims guard and convert to chain drive. They also grind the swing arm a little bit. Thats not to bad :)
