G'day
I have a new softy that has Weston bars which has internally fed wiring but I'm putting on some pullback t-bars instead . The wiring situation has been driving nuts on how to trace the wire to the underside off the tank and trying not to let the tank scratch but I think I've got it covered now after reading a few blogs on this forum . If I need to cut a wire to extend or shorten the lengthen a wire, do I need to disconnect the battery to do so or can I do it with the battery connected without tripping out the computer ?
I'm not really mechanically minded when it comes to bikes and especially a new harley but I didn't wanna get raped by a bike mechanic in cost and I'd rather do as much technical work as I can to the bike to learn more about it .
Thanks again
They are chrome Wild1 chubby bars.
