Has anyone changed there own bars over from the rubbish mini apes that come from factory. I've picked up a new set of bars and I would like to try and install them myself to save a few bob if I can.

I 've read that on the newer model street bob the connectors are alot smaller so when it comes to internal wiring you don't need to remove the tank in order to unclip the cables. Just wondering if this is true and also if anyone had swapped there bars over themselves if they have an info or tips there willing to share that would be great. Cheers in advance

Hey mate its easy stuff i changed mine out for street slammers. Connections are smaller than previous models and just have to pull the frame plug in the neck of the frame they slide right out, then its just a matter of feeding it into the new bars and bolt them on. Took me about half hour at most plus a couple of drinks, give it a shot and save your $$
