Hi there, I've been considering fabricating my own storage box to fit above the rear fender & pillion seat for an upcoming road trip.  My question is will it require brake/tail light/ turn signals to be fitted, as it will most likely fit above my factory turn signals.

I would think that if all lights are visible it wouldn't need any others mounted on it as it would be just like having a swag or bad strapped on there....
