anyone using the quiet baffles with the pro pipe. I am wanting to tame down the rasp of the pipe and looking for a deeper note from the pipe. The other option is to take the bike to a muffler shop and get something made, there is a bike muffler shop in Slacks Creek. Has anyone used them and were you happy with their work, cheers.

I put the quiet  baffles in my big shots , only quiet them down a bit but made the note deeper sounded heaps better

I used some hard kore baffles from http://www.smartpartz.com/  in my bigshots made a big difference. Took about a week to arrive and about 45 minutes to fit.

I also used the hard kore baffles from smartpartz in my V&H straight shots with standard baffles.

I dont think they made them any quieter but they definitely took the harsh bark out.

update, I ended up going to Noel at Pipework Techniques at Carrara and he made up a 2 stage baffle, extra to the V & H race one. 1 is welded onto the inner end of the standard baffle and not removable. The 2nd is a removable one very simular to the Hard Kore style of baffles which goes inside the standard baffle. She does still have a decent sound when revving, but nice and quiet on the highway and when riding sensibly. Get to hear the induction roar much more now. Definitely happy with what he has done and like the thought of being able to make her bark again if I want. <img data-cke-saved-src="  thanks moffycc for putting me onto him.
