fuel injectors 88 cube

    I ride a 88 cube wideglide fuel injected , changed the fuel filter in the tank then went for 500 km ride .

    Fuelled up left servo bike starts coughing running rough , hopeing it would clear 30k up road she stops , got home pulled fuel pump out cleaned sock

    on pump changed plugs . still no luck , getting fuel tank to pressurise and fuel through fuel line but no fuel to injectors . been told cant service or clean injectors . anybody had this problem before ,any help appreciated .

    Take them out and soak them in a small container of genuine Toyota petrol injection cleaner. overnight should do it. If the bike will then run, ride it with some of the cleaner in the fuel. Read the bottle for ratio. Stock 88 injectors will be cheap secondhand if you need them, new they are not too badly price and rarely give trouble at all. Good luck

    If you change to 25 degree injectors you will have to remap with the appropriate calibration ( if there is one !)

    All EFI Harleys went to 25 degree injectors during the 2006 model/build year , some time in January 2006 I do believe

    For bikes " of that age" there are options of caalibrations in the Cal File List

    Your age of bike there won't be an automatic 25 degree injector calibration ( What year is it ?)
