Hey Guys need some help recently had the switch block changed over with the chrome buttons. went for a ride yesterday and was just crusing to have my bike complettly shutdown happend about 3 times  it was like someone hit the kil switch.  Do you think its  the run / stop button or the battery in the fob Harley says to replace it every year its coming up to 12 months next month.  appricate the feed back

My money would be on a wiring problem post chrome switchblocks.

With the battery FOR THE FOB it's either working or it's not , plus the bike once running continues to run even if the fob is away from the bike

Mate of mine's son in law left home on his 2008 V-Rod with the fob dropping off the bars in the driveway

250K's later they stop for fuel , V ROD alarm cranking like fuck when they wanted to get going again.

500K's round trip with the other bike that was with him to get the spare fob. A LESSON LEARNED FOR ALL CONCERNED !

My 2014 Streetglide is doing the same thing at intermittent intervals. Just shuts down then i turn ignition off, wait a second then restart it and it goes for an undetermined amount of km's. anthing from 100 to 2000 k's before it does it again. I've made no major mods to cause this so when it goes in next week for the clutch recall theyre gunna have a look at it, a couple of codes may give a hint as to what is causing it.

If it was fine and then you changed something start there.
The fob won't shut your bike off while it is running.

My 2012 fatboy was doing the same thing , the plug came loose on the EMC under the seat, pushed it back in and all good again.

sounds more like wiring issue if you had the switch changed over recently. If your keen and a handyman you can undo the screws that hold it together and see if any of the wires are pinched or not connected properly.
