So I had my new Forty Eight delivered to my work this afternoon, beyond stoked.

I've been waiting for the 2015's to come into stock so ave been waiting quite a while.

Few things done to it by the dealer:
SE Street Cannons & Wraps (Actually not that fond of them, too quiet so might look to change them)
    SE Heavy Breather
    Drag bars
    2up seat & rear pegs

I have a cupboard full of stuff to go on:
    2 Inch tank lift
    Speedo relocation
Derby & Timing covers (Need a gasket before I can fit)
Motogadget bar end indicators (Are these legal here!?)
    New grips
    Flush fuel cap
    Battery tender USB cables

I'll have plenty of questions, no doubt about how the hell to fit most of my list above...

Here's some pics, let me know your thoughts:

nice mate, Congratulations it looks great.

It's a shame because I have a 2 inch rise kit you could have had.

you won't need gaskets for the derby or timing cover (I'm pretty sure there isn't even one at all for the timing cover)

the derby uses a big ass o-ring that is fine for a few uses, with a new bike it should stay put. Just align the spring centrally when you mount the new one.

I have some other spares if you want them too dude, got no use for them.

    Hey Brash,

Cheers for the info - as much as i've loved bikes for years, my mechanical knowledge spans as far as owning a set of allen keys haha!
We'll have to set up a ride at some point soon too! None of my mates are into bikes so be cool to get out and have a blast with some people.

Thanks for offer of spares too man, much appreciated!

nice work mate. Get to trade tools or similar and get hold of a ratchet, imperial sockets, and torx and imperial allen key sockets. Oh, and a family size bottle of blue threadlocker. These along with a torque wrench and a collection of spanners ( also mostly imperial ) along with the service manual, and you're pretty well qualified to do anything on your bike. Hardest thing you've got to fit is the bar end indicators. Bit of fiddling around, especially on the throttle side feeding wires thru bars & out at the triple clamp. But take it slow, and take photos of everything before you do it, and as you do it to remind yourself where shit came from.

Thanks for the advice dark! I've been waiting for the bike for a while so have been buying tools here and there along the way :)
Taking photos of stuff is a great idea, will do that for sure.

Do you happen to know the legalities with the bar end indicators? They tick all the boxes of the ADR's, but thought i'd ask...?

Yeah Giles, me too... They actually played the biggest part in my not just going for an iron.

Scouser, I've read a lot about them online, apparently with the rain cover on, they are fine.

Does anyone have any suggestion of how to tidy up the rear end? The stock plate holder is awful!
