Well managed to punch a small hole in my EVO's outer primary cover about 600klm's from home. Used 2 part expoxy to fill the hole and got home no worries. Anyhoo, do any of you guys know what the composition is of the alloy so I can get the right filler rod to TIG it?

JB Weld may do the trick so long as its not load bearing.

FYI...I dropped my Evo and smashed up the primary side near the base of the inspection cover. Had it beaten and welded and all has been good for 15 years, so it does work out okay.
