Hello Sporty types! I'm a very newby to HD. I have myself a 2008 Nightster and I am LOVING it.

As I start to make it mine, I welcome your advice and experience if you are willing to share.

If anyone knows the best place to buy a set of stock (mids) foot controls - black - nice and cheap, I'm all ears.

I figure if forwards are so popular, then there must be a lot of stock controls lying around in sheds collecting dust.

    Any advice?

I look forward to getting to know you lot.

    Cheers,

    Scoutegg.

    G'day Andrew,

I'm in Boat Harbour, Port Stephens. You?

So, mids for a 2008 Nightster? Are you willing to part with them and how much would you like for them?

If you could attach a photo or two, that'd be great. I haven't looked up part numbers yet, but hopefully you've got the one's that fit.

Thanks for getting in touch mate.

Scoutegg (not Scott, in fact my name is Dave).

Mine are off a 2011 iron, they will fit but it might be best to wait and see if somebody closer to you has a set and postage will be a killer (quite heavy)

Right, so one of my footpegs just fell off today. That's right, just fell off. It was because of a dodgy mod made by the previous owner which is why I was asking about new mids in the first place. I fixed it for now, but would like the stock mids.

How much are you thinking in total posted to NSW, 2316 mate?

    Please let me know asap.

    Cheers,

    Scoutegg.

Hay Scott. I have a 2008 nightster myself, love the bike.

The mods that I have done so far are,

D&D Bobcat 2 into 1 exchaust awsome sound and performance

    Kuryakyn air cleaner

Second hand roadking air shocks with a 3" lowering kit ( very compy)

    screaming eagle module

    1" rear indercator stems

883 mag wheels so now they are tubless

17ltr tank off a sporty custom and 2" tanklift,it now gets 250 kms per tank

    Ignition and coil relocation

    19" burly apes

    sprung solo seat

Very compy now and very fast can ride bike for 700 to 800 kms per day. Much better than when I purchased it could only do about 200kms a day any questions or info you need just message me. Cheers Paul
