New licenceing for l platers has a section introducing high vis vests....maybe they will make it for everybody eventually???

More rules and regulations and blah blah blah.
Most effective thing they ever did was restrict the power to weight ratio for learner a & P's.
Not much more you can do for the rider, it comes down to their attitude.

My 2 cents is that everyone getting a car licence should have to do some motorcycle awareness training and testing. Not quite sure how that would look, but it would reduce mortality rates a damn sight more than hi-vis vests and constantly switched on headlights.

Dont learners already do a hazzard awareness couse?

If not, they should and if they do, then more emphasis on riders.

Yep you hit the nail on the head there, car drivers should have to undergo a test for observation of motorcylces on the road most car drivers have tunnel vision
