easy fix mate, just use the front brakes :). You obviously still have air in there, maybe try the fix some do for the front when having the same problem. For the front you cable tie the lever in and leave over night and that seems to push the air down. See if you can do simular to the rear lever, if not just sit on it all night with your foot on the brake lol.

I just had a quick look at my bike and checked the manual , they specifiy DOT4.

    DOT5 is silicone-based and DOT4 is polyglycol ether-based.

Also had a look on the net and mixing DOT4 & DOT5 is a no no.

I have my 2013 Street bob booked in to have the front brake looked at , near on pulls into the bars when braking gently on the ride home from work.

DOT 5 ONLY until and including 2005

DOT 4 ONLY from 2006 until present date

Early 90's bikes only had single piston sliding calipers , have to copper lube all the slider components at every pad change

"Quality" pads are a must . Lyndall / EBC etc etc

Stock OEM pads are actually OK as well

Bleeding can be helped with a hand held vacuum pump system as the rear master cylinder sits low compared to the caliper , especially when compared to the front brake.

I also clean the disc surface with thinners or similar ( watch the paint FFsake !)

Love the DOT 5 stuff.... lasts forever!

You could drop the caliper off the bike so it sits lower than the master cylinder (just place the old rotor in it to keep it happy as you bleed things); which should allow the air bubbles to rise upwards and out.

If you ever find a 'Mityvac' going cheap; grab it! I have one and its a godsend for bleeding brakes as it comes with all the jars and hoses for just such a job.

Strip the caliper sliding bolts and lightly sand all sliders , clean with CRC and lube with copper grease
