Simple enough question... as I am having an ankle surgery in a week and will be off my feet for around 8 weeks (hopefully no more..but maybe).. would you guys reccomend doing anything special to leave the bike in good nick? full tank of fuel?? addative to fuel???trickle charger etc etc??

    Cheers

Just give it a kiss goodbye for a while and put it under a blankie. I have regularly left mine for 3 months at a time and Tigger just fires right up!

P.S. good luck with the surgery.

Maybe invest in a trickle charger

(or park it at my place)

Just the trickle charger for 8 weeks, Fuel will be fine after 8 weeks,  My XR sat for 6-7 months just changed the fuel and brmm. Didn't throw the fuel away though, the victa drank that. I'm not sure it goes off like you hear it does??

Good luck with the ankle they can be a pain. Important bit of the anatomy them.

Perhaps be weary of the difference between trickle charger and one that goes into float (maintenance mode).... research them before the buy....

Good advice re the charge and maintain units mate. Projecta make a goodie (I have three) and one can purchase online for $50. All the best for the surgery.

Fill the tank to stop any condensation .
