Hi there from lamplighter, would like to know what size the hex bolts are on my 2006 sportster 1200 custom with a screaming eagle oval heavy breahther filter. Also where can I find custom bolts for this insert ie: tri-wing chrome/brass, brass spike ect, for sportsters? I think the bolts may be 1/4" but not sure, any help welcome. Cheers Lamplighter

Most of the Harley bolts are imperial sizes. There are only two threads types used UNC (Coarse) or UNF (Fine). Take the bolt to Bunnings hardware and they have a thread size board you can use to check what size and thread it is, then do a search for custom bolts in that size.
