Hey, I've got a 2013 RK. When I down shift and give the throttle a rev, I'm feeling a deadspot i.e. no rev...sorta like a miss. This is the only time it does it, otherwise it runs well.

The bike has stage 1...all Vance & HInes.... air intake, fuel mgmnt and true duals.

Any help appreciated.

Depending on what your fuel manament is, you may need to adjust out the flat spot when cracking the throttle. My guess would be it's lean.

I used to have this problem on a carburetted bike that had a rubber intake manifold, the manifold perished and cracked and sucked in air. So yeah, simple answer, your running lean.
