Hi all,if just received my power vision,after updating software I am now trying to send a tune to my power vision that I've received via email,I can get the tune onto my winpv program but I'm having trouble sending it from there to the povervision itself.any ideas would be much appreciated.

Connect the PV to the bike

make sure the run switch is on, don't start the bike

pair the PV to the bike if you already havn't.

Follow this video to load a custom tune, but hit "custom tunes" instead of the pre-configured tunes. Find the tune, load it onto the bike.

Brash,the part I'm having trouble with is getting the pvt file from email stored into the power vision,I'm thinking the custom tune has to be in a slot 1 to 5 before I plug it into my bike,or do I have to pair it to the bike first ? Thanks

just a thought & I could be wrong send the file from email to an external hard drive maybe a USB drive of some sort, then down load into your power vision program, again could be way off ...

once you have the .pvt file open in WinPv, grab the mini usb cable and PV and hook it into your computer, in the winpv software there is a a tab to 'send tune to PV", click this, pick a slot and then hit send. tune will now be stored in the Pv. unplug from comp and go flash ya bike with it.

I'm still having the same trouble guys, I can get the pvt.file to winPV but the send tune button doesn't highlight to send through. This is windows 8 if that helps also my computer does  not recognise the pvt file it says "how do you want to open this type of file(.pvt)" - look for a app in the store.? 

Thanks lucifer,your a legend,that notepad thing done the trick,I've now got it in slot 6 in my power vision.

Nah I'm pretty sure It was the notepad that helped cause as soon as we opened it with that and saved it the send tune button highlighted and off it sent.
