Electrical accessory adapter?

I discovered under my seat that there's a grey plug which I'm assuming is an electrical accessory plug, does anyone know if there's a cigarette lighter type socket adapter that can be attached to it?

This would be easy enough to make I gues using a socket from an auto accessory place, just wondering if there's anything specific that people have used?

    FB,

I know the one you're talking about, it's not that one, I have the TMAX auto-tune connected to that, it's this one in the pic below.

Sorry, it's not under the seat it's more under the side cover on the Sportys.

    Cheers,

    KC

Kingchops, I've seen a 12v socket on the HD accessories website, not sure if it fits all models but it def had a Deutsch type connector on it..

(..and who said you can't have a cigarette lighter on your bike...I'll bet there's a bar mounted ashtray as well...)

Ok, cool. I did have a brief look in the service manual but I only looked under Electrical not Wiring.

I went and got a $5 cigarette lighter socket from an auto-parts store today, did the job nicely, came with a round plastic housing and wires out the back. I removed the cap off of the 480 P.E.D connector and I noticed it was just a socket for a standard blade type electrical pin, so I stuck a couple of blade pins on the end of the wires from the socket and it fit straight in. The other bonus is that the accessory socket and plug for my GPS fit nicely connected under the seat so I just ran the cable down the left side of the bike to the handlebars, now I can charge my GPS or phone from the bike.

One thing that surprised me though is that the 480 P.E.D connector is always powered, even when the ignition is off, I thought it would have only been powered with the ignition on. I suppose it allows you to run stuff when the bike is off?
