Gday,Ive got a 75 shovel with a stndrd wideglide front end .I recently replced the 19 inch frnt wheel wiith a21inch wheel.I would like to rake out the bike.my options are "5 degree rake" or" 5 degree with 2 inches longer fork legs"what would be the best choice?is it possible to do this without it screwing up the bikes handling capabilities.cheers.any info greatly apreciated .jay

sounds like your going 5deg.rake anyway, so why not run with the standard lenth legs first ?see if you like it?since you have them , if you think it needs the 2 inch overs after a few rides or just for the look you want, you could fit the longer legs after,
Handling?? well, probably wont notice much differance, maybe a bit slower in the corners,l've run 2 overs,4 overs, with some rake, used to run 2 overs with no rake just to get a bit more ground clearance so's the floor boards didnt hit the road so much on bends, rigid pans, swingarm pans, swingarm shovels, as long as the necks welded up in line with the rest there should be no problems.....
