Playing the Pipe

    Having a play with a Bassini Road Rage and a Trapp 5" muffler. I had this muffler sitting in the shed had had the 107 around I finished a couple of weeks ago for a service and I thought I would see if it goes on.

    it sound awesome and with a little mod to merge collector heat sheild will look like a of the shelf thing.

    Deano at Thundertech is keen to give it a whirl on the dyno to see if its worth pursuing for a proper tune and final fit up

    has the out size in the merge were muffler fits on been reduced in diametre or still the same ando ,

    That looks unreal. Will definitely turn heads just on looks.

    Yeh the Lad who own's the bike was unsure of it when it was first fitted but after he put the Bassini Muffler back on he liked the look of the Trapp heaps better

    As far as noise goes its a lot deeper sound than the Tinny sound of the Bassini muffler and is quiet when cruising and a deep bark when giving it some throttle

    My son had a Supertrapp on his SR400.
    Sounded wicked.
    I might look a bit more deeper into this and maybe get one for my LC.

    Got Daves pipe conversion finished today, after welding on mounting tabs and cutting heatshields had the heat shields and muffler powder coated.

    this has come up perfect and really looks the goods he will get to Deano ASAP and se how it has worked out
