I wanted a set of Samson Street Sweeper exhausts for my 2013 Road King because i didnt want V&H as i wanted something different. I have found that they dont have an Aussie agent (which is strange) and when i contacted them direct they wanted $595 just to post them plus $695 for the pipes equalling $1290 total. I thought $595 postage was really rude so after much googleing i found a company in the USA that were great to deal with and bought my pipes from them. They charged me the same for the Samson pipes but just $135 to post them so i got a great set of pipes complete with chrome covers and baffles for $870 Australian dollars to my door. A guy called Mark dealt with me there via email and excellent to deal with and even has a good sense of humour. Find it at MotorcycleParts2U.com and just search Samson on their site to see pages of gear. The pipes do have the ports for the oxygen sensors and that all works well. I have had them on for approx 7500km. The only thing i had to make stronger for aussie roads was a minor modification to hold the baffles in better than original. The original just tapped a hole into the wall of the baffle which is not good enough so I welded a 1/4 UNF nut in the baffle and it is now held in place by a high tensile bolt which has been no probs at all. Also, these are not what you would call quiet pipes at all but they do have a great sound I did buy them quite a few months ago so i am sure the prices have changed just a little but not much. If you want something different to the masses, go for it.
Yeh, i just wanted something different that looks and sounds great and these pipes do it all. They are a bit loud but then again even little old men in Volvos can hear me coming which makes life a bit safer and fun. Samson make a huge range of different pipes etc. What i would recomend is to have a look on Samson's own website, work out what you want and then order them via MotorcycleParts2U.com so you then save lots of dollars
