    he rode a lot of them and at various times so did a lot of the whole club.

    i wonder how many people told them they were riding girls bikes.

    the sporty could also be called the SHORTY DUE TO THE STATURE OF THE LADIES RIDING THEM, think angry Anderson rides one.

    i've had a fatboy a street bob and a iron and i found the iron was the "tallest" of all of them. as in seating position to feet on the ground

    dont know if this has already been said, did not read the whole thread, but i think the reason that sportsters are referred to as girls bikes is because if a girl is going to own a harley it is most likely to be a sportster due to it being the lightest and easiest to manage harley, no doubt that will now be replaced with the Street 500 model.

    I kind of agree with the above statement the sportster is defiantly "easier" to handle around the twisties streets etc you can really lean In and have fun.

    But on the opposite side of things the sportster are less comfortable and "harder" to take long distances on the free way. You have to be pretty fit and strong to ride one 2 hours plus on the free way.
