I have a powervision supplied by Fuel moto in the states, they send you a map that matches your mods, then you do a few autotune sessions to get the VE's right. I did a few more logs and then emailed Fuel Moto and they sent back another map with the timing tweaked to suit.

I am friendly with my local indy shop who has a dyno, for science sake we strapped the bike on and gave it a few power runs, he said he would only be stealing money off me if I was to ask for a full tune as there wasn't a whole lot he could do bar adding a hp or two right in the higher RPM's with a raised rev limit. VE's and AFR's were all on the money.

that been said, I did atleast 15 A/T sessions until I got all the VE's below 3% change in total (delta)

For your usual bolt on stage 1 shit, powervision makes a good proposition.

All good advice above,,, If you want to play yourself ,, the Power Vision or TTS mastertune devices seem to be on top of the list. Plenty of info if you hit the search button.

I take it your from the Canberra area,,, if you want advice from the dealer ,, (Robbos), of course they will put you on to the SE tuner. I don't know if they will play with any other tuners , you will have to ask. Pulfords in Mitchell are a well regarded workshop , (they have a dyno), worth giving them a call and see what they have to say !! Good luck .

Hi mate. I'm also around Canberra. Robbos obviously sell and prefer sert but will tune with others such as tts if you ask them and lend them your laptop. As for Pulfords they will only tune using sert.

Fuel moto probably the best customer support I have ever received to be honest. They are well known for quick responses and very knowledgeable, Jamie is a tuning guru.

no question is too stupid, the guys will explain it in easy to understand language.

I found this thread invaluable for learning about Autotune and adjusting timing:

    http://www.hdforums.com/forum/ignition-tuner-ecm-fuel-injection/617661-power-vision-information-thread-sticky-approved-by-admin.html

there is probably too much info there to be honest, reading it all will take you weeks.

Fuel moto is pretty busy right now. Still haven't replied to my request for a cost to buy and ship wood camshafts to me but at least they have an auto reply advising there are some minor delays on account of how busy they are.

I have a map from fuel moto to suit Straight shots with and aftermarket A/C. Should be a good starting point to Autotune from

Power Vision for me guys. Currently using the PV2 on my 2013 Slim and have just recently been in contact with Dynojet ie: a dual licence to use the unit on my new Heritage. Great to deal with and quick responses even allowing for the time difference in the states. They put me in touch with the Oz distributor Serco in Capalaba QLD and every thing has gone extremely seamless. So I guess what I'm saying is the back up service is there. Bought the unit from M&M cycles (currently quoted at $489AUD including shipping to W.A.) and am very happy with the results that I got with the Slim, hence the dual licence request.....Just reading back what I've just wrote and it sounds like an add...No I don't have any affiliation with any of the above companies, just thought this maybe helpful.

    Hey Guys,

I'm looking at the PV-2 for my 2014 Sportster. I can see that I can d/l a map from Dynojet for SE A/C and SE Slip ons. I will have a Big Sucker stage 1 A/C and SE Slips ons. I couldn't find the exact map for my combo, however I get the feeling all hi-flow A/C can be grouped under the SE A/C maps, is this correct? I know a Dyno tune will be best but avoiding the cost, hence looking for something that is going to give bang for buck in terms of torque and HP...

Also a Noob question what restricts the flow on a stock a/c is it the cover (oval thing) on the Iron883 or the actual filter element?

i finally get back to following this thread. I am a newby when it comes to using the PV with Auto tune. i have installed it but I could do with quick verbal if anybody is willing to talk me through it.  getting my head around suitable VEs and timing for starters. Also Lambda settings for the wide band sensors. Reading it all is fine but there are some obvious pitfalls if you are not taking the widest possible view IMHO. I guess i want to get the best performance out of my new tune capability. So fellow PV people i am putting my hand up. contractae@iinet.net.au.

Mr Stinky digit, My build is a 107 Tman Cylinders with flat tops 10.5;1., 577 Tman cams, Se CNC heads, 58mm TB 5.3 Inj, Fullsac Header, Crusher mellows (bored).

My CCP is 200/205. I guess that makes me around 10.65:1.

Its all in  a streetglide 012.

Prior to the PV, the 58mm and the bigger inj , I was around 107HP and 113TQ as i remember it.

Robots, its interests me that you suggest not using AT on a performance build. fuel moto carry out many 107 builds with 777 cams, heads etc and they seem to have a lot of success with Auto tune.

    hi,

autotune struggles to even optimize a stage1 change, the VE's in low rpm and and tp 0, 2, 5 and 7 get seriously out of whack, put cams in and the same thing will happen, then start doing heads, throttle bodies, compression and it all gets too much across the VE table

    thanks

    Hi,

And pauly you bring up the tune file on winPV, fiddle with the spark advance, use the smooth function to make the little graphs look nice, call my calibration robots1.pvt

Adjust VE to stop a bit of knock if you get it, i enjoy most though looking at the data log files in MEGAlogviewer which is made by MEGAsquirt hehehehehehehe

    Thanks
