G'day Shingles,, Mate I've read a number of your posts,, must admit I've had to read them a few times , (even then ,,, sometimes i'm scratching my head), but your post above seems to have hit a nerve with me. Without all the BS , and technical stuff, you , (to me ), have rolled it up and packaged it up, into good simple terms for anyone to understand what really counts. And that is ,, to ride and enjoy our bike, (in our case,, an iconic Harley Davidson),, . Don't get me wrong,, I enjoy maintaining her to the best I've my ability,, learning and researching how everything works etc,,,, and yes , sometimes there'll be mechanical dramas,, that's part of the journey !! But like you said above,, "one day all that may not be there", ,, Ride her like you stole her !!!!
