I want to change the bars on my Street Bob to the fat black mini apes, those internal switch wires that run inside the bars that disappear into the frame through that large rubber grommet, if I take out that grommet and pull the lead will a connector eventually pop out or do I have to take the tank off? Thanks

take tank off mate, disconnect the plug and play and undo wires from the plug.
