Hey Bandit, I read insructions real well. I just received my new taillight, does it just plug and play or do I have to follow the desructions?

read the instructions, it will make it easier. Check your guard clearance at the front, when I pulled my guard out the guard struts had rubbed through the paint back to bare metal. Now fighting with HD to get it fixed as they don't know what to do about it.

Hey Bandit, you were right there was a little more to the fitting but once I got started it was piece of cake and looks great.

Thank for the advice, didn't have a problem with guard clearence.

My LED tail light arrived today from St Paul Harley over the pond, saved 120 bucks off the OZ price & landed at my door in 7 days flat.

instructions stated the guard had to be removed but from memory it didn't.

will do pics 2morrow, got none of the fitting,

I did undo the whole guard but didn't fully remove it ,( caution must be taken NOT to scratch the guard as ya move it around ) having it loose helps with pulling through the extra bit of the wire harness ya need to make the main power plug fit, so will an extra pair of hands to hold the guard & help push the wire, I stuffed around trying till I realized there were 2 cable ties stopping it from moving through the rubber on the underside of the guard ...

Looking at fitting a tri-bar rear light to my 07 wideglide. does anyone have a part no for these? anyone got a pic os it done?
