I think the Barnett spring is the same as the '03 & earlier spring, about 330lbs, which is lighter than the SE spring @ 380lbs.

HD went to a 300lb spring in '04, which is probably what you have. The SE spring is a bit hard on the left hand when in stop & go traffic.

Extra plate clutch pack from either Energy One or Barnett with their spring, or even the stock spring, would be more than adiquate IME. - Rob

67,000 km not a lot , even for stock clutch with a build of 98hp/ 100tq. I suppose its how you ride her !!! Have you adjusted the clutch ,(cable and inside derby cover) lately ?? And have you changed the primary oil lately , and what type ??? I don't want to start an oil debate !!!

A heavy duty spring, (SE,, Barnetts etc ), and a properly adjusted clutch is all you may need to fix the slipping.
That being said, if your going to pull the primary cover off to replace the spring, you may as well check and replace, (if needed), the clutch friction and steels with a brand that will better suite your build,, to put your mind at ease !!!!
A couple of good clutch packages recommended above,, but don't underestimate, (for ease of install ), the stock setup with a heavy duty spring , or the , say Barnett's extra clutch plate kit, which I thinks comes with the heavy duty spring,, for your build !!!
Depends how much you want to spend. Let us know how you go !!! Cheers.

Interesting point about the Oil in Primary you raise there Mark ... I know there is a big push from some quarters about only using synthetic in all 3 holes but wouldn`t Mineral in the primary be the way to go as the Synthetic has more of a chance of making the plates slipping .

Don`t mean to hijack thread , just an interesting thought , cheers .

I knew it I knew it , I knew I shouldn't have asked what type of oil do you use in the primary.!!!! But it can be part of the puzzle of a slipping clutch.
Of course , if you have, say 100,000 km on your bike, and it starts slipping, and you adjust the clutch correctly and regularly , same with the oil , I don't care if you put emu piss in the primary , its not a oil problem, its just time to check and replace worn clutch components.
From what I'm lead to believe ,, the cooling of the clutch plates is just as important as the lubricant abilities of the oil, ie, primary chain, compensator etc.
So, if you ride you bike hard , (don't we all), and the clutch starts slipping before its time,,, (you have the right clutch components for you build, and adjusted and maintained if correctly ) , you may want to double check you have the clutch manufacturers recommended oil in there. That's why I ask the question above !!

I think if you have the right weight oil, be it mineral or synthetic, and either one is recommended for Harley clutches and primary , you should be good to go !!!

Ah , you ask, what do I put in the primary,,,, I'm not telling its a fucking secret !!!!!!!

OK then ,,,,, EMU PISS !!!! Cheers Lads .

    thanks for all the suggestions

have adjusted the clutch twice now so suspect clutch pak is shot, not sure a spring is going to cut it.so probably looking for full replacement.

energy one kit fits the wallet ,but the primo pro clutch sounds good with the same lever pull.

as it will be diy ,any tips for installment for either of the above.

    thanks

sounds like your bike done a few nice ks , could be up for clutch or  ,  get clutch checked for proper adjustment , lots of clutchs can slip because owners havent been told or advised when  they need readjusting  , there is proper procedure for this , also i have 2012 softail 106 cub with se up grade presure plate  and so far been very good with 130 rwhp eng , 15000 ks , my other bike has rivera pro clutch , 35000 ks old with up to 180 rwhp of abuse , awson clutch , cheers

This is what I did. Cheap (relatively) and works great. 97hp/103flbs. Smokies with light clutch pull.

    '03 and earlier spring 37871-98A 330lbs.

Later ones are rated 300lbs but actually less apparently once under load. SE is 380lbs but you need vice hands.

Barnett extra plate kit. (I don't think this is the exact one for my 04 though)
