So I took my 2013 streetbob to melbourne from the gold coast about 6 months ago on a trailer.

The alarm is so sensitive that I had to put the fob near the bike the whole way or the alarm would go  off from the motion of travel.

Got home to melbourne then found that i had a dead battery.

Thought i must have left ign on or something but was sure i hadnt

Anyway just done the reverse trip and same thing , I dont get it.  Checked to see red light flashing still at newcastle , got home to brisbane tonight and dead battery

    Any ideas ??

Yer I trailered mine just recently and had the same problem,(my alarm didn't go off but my blinkers were flashing the whole trip which used the battery up)I have since read in my owners manaul that there is a travelling mode you can put it in but I havnt tried it. Streetbob06

I trailered mine to the dealers for a service , the mechanic who got the bike off the traler said to put it in "Transport mode" so the alarm system wasn't active when transporting the bike.

    Thanks for the replies .

Transport mode it will be for next time..

I just cant believe that the battery would go dead from just having the fob nearby..

Does that mean if i leave the fob in range of the bike at home it will do the same thing?

I don't think having the fob in range of a sstationary bike will flatten them. Or at least both mine seem ok.never had a worry.
