    Hi All,

I have just purchased a new 2014 Wide Glide which I will pick up from the Dealer on Tuesday.

Whilst looking over it this morning, I had noticed that there is a cable operated Valve right where the Mufflers slip on.

I understand what the valve is there for, but what are you lot doing with them??  Do we disable the control and have it Wide Open at all times ?

Initially I will keep the stop pipes on until the bike is run-in then choose a suitable Exhaust and Air Filter, then start tuning.

    Pete

I had mine disabled after i put a set of slip ons on. The dealer tried to tell me i needed the fuel controller, etc, so i said see ya and had it done elsewhere.

    Thanks Damo222,
So, it's not just a matter of holding it Open with something....... It's a setting somewhere??

Don't quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure if you're running a TTS then you can set it to constantly stay open through the tuner interface. Hilly will know.

Just ask the dealer to have it disabled when doing the pre delivery service. Mine did.

    Sounds like a plan Beagle.
Do you loose much down low with it open at all times?
