Great idea i have a brake vacuum brake bleeder here that attaches to the compressor i'll be giving this a try for sure.

Interested to see how quiet they are on start up.
When I installed mine, I primed the oil system until
I had pressure, and they were still noisy as fuck for quite a while.
Usually if I prime the oil system , the lifters are quiet on first start.

I use soft jaws in the vice, but you could knock up some timber V blocks to fit.

I did not know about all that stuff. I used set length push rods. Just dropped all in. Cranked it few times with out spark plugs. Fired it up and sounded quieter than before right away. Hope I have not done something wrong.
