Hi all was just wondering if anyone has had any trouble putting a speedo drive on a 1990 flhs. I have put a set of chrome spoke wheels on my bike.. I have tried the standard drive but it puts the wheel to far to the right and the brake calliper won't line up. Is there another type of drive maybe one that doesn't have the spacer built into it or something.... Cheers

you need to machine the speedo drive down so that your brake disc is the same distance from the fork leg calper mount
as your oem wheel , than make another spacer for the other side

you will  probley find the speedo locator is not in the disc slot either

Cheers, I found the lug wouldn't reach so I had an old disc and a friend machined it down and made it into a spacer so the lug fits.. If I machine one down do u think it will weaken the caseing.... I had an old one that I cut down but when tightening the wheel it cracked around the drive.
