Hey Jayman ... have been hearing about it for a little while now ... was never sure if it was going to go ahead ... I think if I read the face book page right they still have 1 more council vote to get by which they must be pretty confident about getting or otherwise why would they be going to so much trouble with the website and advertising so far .

Another thing I may have got wrong is that apparently it ISN`T going to be racing over the Lions road so not sure what it is going to be doing ... I`m definitely going down to check it out because if it comes off it is always good to see another bike related festival up and running ... and I reckon some of the roads coming down the Summer Land Way from Rathdowney are fantastic .

Not real fussed on the real tight 15 to 30 K corners coming through the range after Rathdowney before you get to the Summer Land Way ... my skills and low Harley aren't that great through there but once you get to those open wide sweepers , just majestic .

If you like a good bike show check out the Dirty Love Bike Show coming up in a couple of weeks , being held up at the Vets Club House up Logan way .

Ironically enough the latest issue of AMM has a tear out map for that whole region. It's really nice all through there, although the condition of the roads is often sketchy at best. I hope the vote gets through, I'm based only an hour or so from there and it would make for a great set-up in Kyogle. Fingers crossed.

Your not wrong about the road conditions Jayman ... when I first heard about this TT hopefully happening I thought there wouldn`t be any fair dinkum A Grader wanting to race across it ... some of the pot holes and Knarley bridge crossings leave a lot to be desired that's for sure .

Great scenery no doubt and hopefully a great festival , hope it gets off the ground ... which magazine is AMM , wouldn`t mind checking out the lift out you mentioned .

Australian Motorcyclist Magazine, august issue mate. It's Peter Thoemings new mag since he parted ways with Aus. Road Rider. Great mag, maps every issue, bike touring focused. Good read for 9 bucks.

Amazing ... might have to move to this bit of paradise ... 3 cheers for the Kyogle City Council .

Now lets just hope the promoters put on a good event ... I`ll be there .
