I've got a mate that is changing his motor in his 2012 Fat Bob from a 103 engine to a 120R engine and then he is going to selling the 103 engine. What would a standard103 engine that has done 10,500 kms be worth?

Hard question as the market is somewhat flooded with 96 and 103 motors lately

Heard just recently Frasers had 9 in storage " awaiting uplift " by the owners who had had 120r's fitted

I've seen them run thru' ebay but can't remember the sale prices sorry , other than they were "cheap"

No worries, looks like he will have to pay a lot more money out for the change over then he hoped for. At prices like that I wish I had a few grand to spare so I could take it of his hands for a little project.

Around $2500 .

Just sold a 96 cube with 20,000 on it for 2 k. Didn't take long either.

Don't listen to nay sayers,always someone looking for em, it will sell and he will get 2k at least

Seen 96's n 103's in shops for $2500, low km, Gumtree too.
