I have had this bike since new, the rear brakes are crap, the rear brakes on my 1989 softail are better, in january while riding around tassie, we called in to richardson's harlet davidson, i spoke to a guy in the service dept. and he agread with me and said they were crap' he suggusted i should try lyndal racing brakes, but i cant find any one in australia who sells them, any of you guys have any ideas ? the freight costs from america is ridiculous

dont giv up on rears i was determined 2 either get sum sorta reaction outta rears i rode along with foot on brake at medium pressure then stabbed on then hard an repeated process zoomin along bit more pressure an keep constant 4 a few kays then release,let cool 4 a bit thewn stand on em in hard like panic stopp an this is only brake i hav theory ,now i thought rotor will either buckle or pads cook an brake oil b boiling but the oppisite had occured ,could stand on rears only at 100ks an get actuall feel of shit this is gettin better ,an continued my routine locking both front an rears then rears only ,now no new pads were bought or new oils jus checked feel at disc wen pedal applied an yes pistons were pushin pads an releaseing ,ive found ovr da yrs most rear brakes on all sorts of hydralic rears r prone 2 hav pistons siezed ive had 6 piston rears siezed an whole time u thinkin its da pads ah no unbolt push pedal look bloody pads movin mil or so ,hummm get out aerosol lube spray around pistons o make sure pads out dont want oil on em then get g clamp i av small 2 large try windin in pistons with clamp some brakes r easy 2 work on sum aint i useally hav calliper in old bowl an old towel rags watever i wont bleed or go into pullin rite apart jus keep push pedal hard an movement may be small but now ill start windind clamp harder piston goin in ,hummm ok now i will inspect master cylindr all pressur off clamp an no pedal pressure remove cap dont touch brake pedal or clamp now u can see oil or sludge brown shit or maybe oil clean if so replace cap tighten an if pads av life well just repeat clamping pistons with tryin 2 wind in i put metal block over piston wen applyin clamp pressure ten try brake an if ya luky ya brakes will start actually working without avin 2 strip em down completely a lotta fukin around an ya wont av parts on hand 2 replace there is few other things now u can bleed an put new fluid in ,but dont attemt this unless u done b4 ,an av spar person that will do wat u tell them exactly wen bleedin ,but if ya brakes workin better than they were after a little in an out an fluid level is ok then that will get ya outta troub from feelin no brake 2 ah i can feel actually grippin disc i chek mine all time a short little lokup at lights ah yes ,rear brake does work an getts better i kid u not ,ah dem chrome aerosol things that r useless old coffe grinders with innings taken out ,now shoks ive looked yeah u can pay exuberant prices but there is australian company CALLED YSS SHOCKS manufactured here all rebuildable rite in ya backyard an will build 2 your spec even put back inside coffe grinder this company been doin over 25yrs 4 race teams all over world and has full range 2 fit every HD built an it not goin to break your mortgage payments prices start at 500 all garanteed rebuildable produt here u not havin 2 try an contact sum distributor in usa or werteever an get no response anyway an ya jus paid 2500 4 shit coz of some thing ya heard through grapevine from a bygone era wen da world was still flat ,i jus think da whole YSS SHOCK companyah ell a no brainer 4 me ,if fuks up or not doin wat ya said only phonecall away 2 sort all i need is da 500 i suppose i got it aw fuk me tyres rooted thats 300+, maybe i could take up rock rolling would be cheaper ,aw fuk can barly walk let alone chase after me rok wat a unit ive become ,but stay calm saz i SHINGLES
