I have just purchased a servicar and originally the generator wasn't charging, ind the electronic regulator was burned out.

i fixed a short in the generator, and testing it on the bike with no wires connected it puts out 20 volts, when I conect the regulator, via the wiring, it shows a green light on the reg which is to tell you it's working, however the generator or at least at the battery isn't charging the battery!

my other issue is that the gen and oil lights don't work.....

any thoughts?
