Can you please post up which model of shock they are? I'm going to put in some progressive rate springs next time I've got the front end apart. I spoke to a few experts about springs and they mostly recommended the Race Tech constant rate stuff.

Mine are the YSS Z302 TRL chrome shocks 20-30-200. They have adjustable preload and dampening.

okay fitted these and rode to work yesterday, definitely a much smoother ride from the rear and with 15mm of static sag set I now have give in the rear, I can actually feel the shocks working while riding now. I do still need to dial in the dampening setting but these are certainly much better than the standard stuff. My standard shocks are now in the for sale section if anyone is interested, pretty sure they will fit older models as well.

Ordered 340mm YSS 302 series shocks today . Meant to have 10mm static sag , with a further 15mm sag with me on it . Will sit higher , but sick of the bike bottoming out on our great roads . If it,s too high , I can have them redone , glory of living close to agent .

the Street Glides only have 2"s of travel stock, that's why some of us replace them to get a better softer ride.

yeah they are good, I have been playing around with mine and have got them really good now. Even though there are 80 clicks for the pre load I found once I was getting close even 1 or 2 clicks did make a difference.

yeah I meant the dampening not the preload, my preload is threaded also.
