I have bought some Lyndall gold pads for my 2012 Roady, is it a straight forward Job? I did the pads on my Street bob a few years back with no Drama has anyone got any Hints ? cheers
thanks pauly, not removing rear wheel will be a big time saver, great to know
It is a bit of a drama with the rears but i did it. You will find with your new pads that the initial bite is not as strong as the brembo pads but they bed in quickly and you will see by the disc that they seat very well.
So you went with the Lyndalls ? how did they perform, did they last longer than brembo`s? I`ve done 13,500 on OEM pads
Just fitted my Lyndall pads ,love the feel ,wouldn`t say they stopped any better but for me the brake lever has much more feeling, never really liked how the stock pads were all of a sudden, I see what you mean by Cicardas sound when braking pauly LOL I like it, will do the rear ones tomorrow
Yes it is a funny noise but sounds cool. You will see that they seem to bed better than the std by the disc in a few klm.
