I've had a pro lift brand now for about 7 years and ive used it on 3 different H-D's. fits under my 2012 ultra no dramas. very stable and i have never used straps to tie it down as it is that stable.

Mine cost $270 when i bought it so they have come down a lot. Bargain now. If you dont have one then you need one today!

Tiger when he was a bog stocker! well nearly.

After washing Tigger, I usually give the important bits on the lift a squirt with WD-40 to keep them rust and trouble free. 7 years and no probs yet.

Oh, the jack is not up all the way in the pics either.

maybe one day I will get a really god lift but for now I don't have the space or need really. I mainly use the lifts for cleaning and basic stuff.

You are right Ozy. It can be a bit of an issue but removing the handle helps. Ian's lifts are the best by far.

I never put my bike lift under from the right side in case whilst lowering the stand decides to fold.

I have an SCA lift also, fits across my softail frame no worries with room to spare. Bike is lowered at the rear 1.5 inches and slides beneath frame without having to lean off the side stand.
I always slide the lift in from the brake side of the bike and mine does lower very gently/slowly back down onto the side stand position.
Got mine on special also quite some time ago for around $80 I think. Have recommended to my mates.

The bottle jack on mine is fucked so I might try ringing repco to see it they can get a replacement one. I'd rather not get a whole new jack since mine's modded to go wider.
