2013 Softail Standard Dave already got me to upgrade the 103 with a set of reaper 574 cams, shaved heads and a 1.9 intake valve this was quiet impressive with 98HP and 108 Torque
Now that he has been bitten by the HP bug we have stripped it down again and had the changed it up to the below specs
CP domed 107 Pistons 10.8/1 Tman 590 cam HPI 55mm TB with 4.9 Injector Heads have been worked over bu a local head porter with 2" intake chamber worked on both intake and exhaust ports shaped
haven't seen the flow sheet but 300 @ 600 is what I have been told.
Will start putting this back together this weekend and it will go up to Thundertech for a tune pretty quickly after a 1000ks are put on it
some pic's of the heads ( not the best but gives you a look))

hi ando , was there new correct size seats fitted to suit 2'' values or just 2'' valves fitted in old seats ??? just wondering
2 '' value will work well in 107 '' nice ando , if he has around 300 cfm at .600 lift ,thats very good flow , get him to flow them with manifold and tb or carby and backing plate and see what figures you end up with , then you can cross reference cfm with rwhp it makes for rough idea for future builds , best flowing heads no good if what is infront is restriction ,all good work goes to waste , hope build works out nice , the intake should good , i have been running hpi t/b and manifolds for last 8 years , nice gear cheers
un shrouding the valve , cool ,
checking Piston valve clearance of the 2" intake valves

Hi. just writing something so I can watch thread.
evo heads suffer from shrouding one one side of inlet and exhaust , they can be easly modded with correct items , then some time with over size valves you can also get bore shrouding , restricting flow , inlet valve size is normaly determind by bore diametre , so big some times is not always better , in the case of the 3.927 bore in this case 2 '' will be fine
Hi, When i doing the big builds i use a bit of blu tack Thanks Robots
got this 107 back together and started like it had never been apart, have got two heat cycles into it and will get a third one done then take it for a run. It sound a lot angrier than it did before and just sounds like it gonna go good.
here is a couple of assembly pic's of checking clearances

the final results this is a pleasing result if ya keen on numbers ad 10% for a true comparison

Look at the sheet I reckon the way it makes power all the way to the rev limiter the heads are doing there business and its other factors that are stopping it from making any more HP
Also has a broad torque curve and its set up at about 10.6/1 comp
Awesome numbers for a 107. Why the dip down low ? Starts good drops off sharp then comes on strong.
very nice figures ando , quality job
