Just wondering, has anybody purchased the fairing lower kits that you see on e-bay to suit Electra glides etc.  they go for around the $200 mark. I was contemplating one for my 08 flht.  I think that I would need to get a mounting kit for it from somewhere. Any correspondence appreciated, good or bad.

I had a mate who went with the after market lowers - not sure if they are the same as you are looking at. The fit was ok but the finish was not as good as the Harley ones. I went with the Harley ones myself and got a great deal from Peter Stevens when they were site sponsors - check your local dealer or try ebay.

Not sure if it's of any help but I bought some soft lowers for me Road King. They work a treat in regards to keeping rain off your feet and shin area, so much so that the bottom of me jeans don't even flap in the wind.
