On the week end , 3 of us were talking that we want to change out the lock , to a push release , on our fuel caps . Is anyone else interested to see if we could get pricing on a group buy ? Has anyone else done it and have a price ?

There are 2 types of push release fuel caps for the tourers. You have the basic button type (PN 53919-04A) and there is also a lockable push button (PN 53842-00C). Can't quite remember how much they were but they were pretty cheap (@ $40 ish)

My one makes the fuel cover rattle like mad. Bend the tangs for more tension then 8 fills later its rattling again.

I have a lockable kuryakyn fuel cap for my softail. Looks not dissimilar from oem but can be locked. When unlocked it just screws open and closed as normal. The key hole is also concealed by a chrome flap. When locked it cannot be opened without the unique key

In the latest dogalogue, we can now get these in a black push button lock for the fuel filler on the tourers. Part no 90300096. Not available just yet but should be soon they tell me. fits 92 and later tourers.
